Junior Developer

Summary

Join 1Password's Junior Developer program and contribute to building a safer digital future. Requirements

• You have 6+ months of experience in software development or related (e.g., internships, bootcamp, proven open source contributions, etc.)
• A desire and ability to write clean, maintainable code
• A passion for problem solving with experience in tackling routine problems and proposing effective solutions
• Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications
• Collaborate with senior developers throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to code reviews by providing and receiving feedback
• Proactively seek feedback on problem-solving approaches
• Solve routine technical challenges and enhance problem-solving skills
• Implement fixes and improvements for existing features
• Support the development of new features
• Write tests during various stages of the development cycle
• Generate and review documentation on code processes
• Be available for on-call rotational work
