Requirements

  • Experience working within an accounting role
  • Part qualified to relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent at working with Excel
  • Highly organized with task management
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, demonstrating an ability to test, learn & iterate
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a growing environment
  • English language proficiency (Dutch desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Support with month-end closing processes on accounting systems
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations, cost breakdowns, journals, and updating schedules
  • Partner with the supply chain team to review stock holdings, landed cost allocations, and purchase orders
  • Reconciliations of stock holdings
  • Posting of warehousing, freight, duty, and transport invoices, as well as preparation from payments
  • Complete ledger reviews to ensure the correct allocation of transactions, accruals and prepayments
  • Support on day-to-day invoice processing and bank reconciliations
  • Support, maintain, and improve internal ERP system policies and procedures
  • Work with the finance team to complete the Audit
  • Drive continuous improvement in the finance function, and refine processes and procedures as we scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-growth start-up/scale-up, retail, and e-commerce consumer goods
  • NetSuite experience will be an advantage
