Summary

IT Concepts is seeking a Junior HR Administrator to join their growing HR team. The role involves performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department, including our HR Information System applications and modules. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Requirements

  • Location - Hybrid (two days per week on-site in Vienna, VA)
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; including a working understanding of Excel spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications
  • Ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with technology and the ability to pick up new software easily
  • Proactiveness in providing solutions and willingness to research solutions and information
  • Ability to work with a fast-paced team and be a team player
  • Desire to grow within an HR-related field

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Maintains accurate data and recordkeeping within the HRIS (we use UKG)
  • Provides HRIS technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to employees
  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, navigating the HRIS, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Organize, compile, and update company personnel records and documentation within our HRIS
  • Collects and tracks HRIS data audits to support compliance, recordkeeping, and business development efforts
  • Provides administrative support to our HR department, including recording meeting minutes and notetaking
  • Assists with new hire orientation and onboarding, including scheduling orientation and training sessions and attendance tracking
  • Provides exemplary customer service support to internal and external customers; establishes and maintains strong collaborative relationships with all employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned
