Junior Legal Counsel

Summary

CEQUENS is seeking a junior Legal Inhouse Counsel to join its growing team. The candidate will provide legal support, draft and negotiate various legal documents, perform legal research, coordinate with external counsel, participate in meetings, maintain accurate records, develop corporate legal policies, and assist in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, 1 to 2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the telecommunications/Tech industry, excellent knowledge of Egyptian law, strong analytical skills, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the telecommunications / Tech industry
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of commercial and business law
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, leases, and service agreements
• Perform legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Coordinate with external counsel to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of legal matters
• Participate in company meetings and provide legal guidance as needed
• Maintain accurate legal records and documentation
• Develop and implement corporate legal policies and procedures
• Assist in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of UAE/Saudi Arabian law
