Join RetailNext as a Junior Project Manager, managing projects within either the US or EMEA portfolio. You will be responsible for project documentation, internal system updates, and acting as the primary customer contact. Key duties include managing solution deployment, developing project work plans, identifying and resolving scope changes, and coordinating project resources. Requirements
- Ability to proactively communicate with various stakeholders at all levels to coordinate and complete all tasks at hand
- Ability to manage time effectively for all priorities that come up within the role: customer meetings, tasks for projects, etc. to ensuring we meet all deadlines on time
- Being able to call out any risks to the budget or timeliness of a project and manage those issues to resolution
- Ability to adapt and respond to changes as they occur within a project or deployment
- Make suggestions that can make tactical work more efficient
- Have a basic understanding of all PMO related processes
- Have a basic understanding of technical requirements for each type of RetailNext implementation
- Ability to use all knowledge and skills to coordinate with others ensuring a project remains within budget/on time
- Attentive and careful management of each aspect of an deployment from the scope of the project, budget/quotes are correct and aligned, coordination of resources, scheduling to ensure coordination of projects
- Ability to use basic understanding of RetailNext processes and procedures to troubleshoot and solve problems that arise or know who to escalate them to
- Ability to work 100% remote (USA / EMEA Timezone)
Responsibilities
- Manage solution deployment, including coordination with vendors and stakeholders
- Develop and execute project work plans, and revise them when necessary
- Quickly identify scope changes, gain approval on change orders, and escalate issues to assure resolution before project timeline and within budget
- Review quotes/estimates to ensure compliance with installation charges, deployment fees, licenses required, and other details
- Act as the primary customer contact and manage day-to-day project activities
- Develop meeting agendas, coordinate resources, document outcomes, and drive actions to completion
- Manage ongoing project documentation, schedules, issues lists, risk factors, meeting minutes, and ensure they are complete, current, and archived
- Manage and update internal systems and checklists, including SmartOps and Google Trackers
- Coordinate project staffing and escalate to internal team managers when necessary
- Utilize existing processes and contribute to process improvement
