Junior QA Engineer - Computer Vision

Summary

Join Sword Health's Algorithms team as a Quality Assurance Engineer and contribute to building a pain-free world powered by AI. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for the Computer Vision team, conduct data acquisition and annotation, and validate CV developments through scripting and technical experiments. Collaborate with product teams to ensure high-quality features integrating Computer Vision components. Actively participate in the software development lifecycle, ensuring testing is integrated early and success is tracked post-launch. Proactively report status and quality risks to stakeholders. This role requires a strong engineering background, including knowledge of scripting and machine learning, and excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English. Requirements

• A strong Engineering background, including working knowledge of both scripting and Machine Learning
• Solid knowledge of software testing and of the software development lifecycle
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Portuguese and English)
• Comfort with version control and task management software
• Ability to interpret and analyze data of different types
• Proactive attitude, flexibility, critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for our Computer Vision Team
• Conduct data acquisition and data annotation efforts
• Validate CV developments by creating/running scripts and/or conducting technical experiments defined together with the team
• Collaborate with product teams (including other QAs) to ensure quality of features that integrate Computer Vision components
• Be an active participant in all parts of the software development process, cross-functionally, making sure testing “shifts left” and that there is proper tracking of success post-launch
• Proactively and clearly report status and quality risks to stakeholders
