Summary

The job is for a Risk Management role in a rapidly growing financial company. The employee will support risk culture, advise senior management on risks, contribute to governance, assess emerging risks/regulations, and implement risk management software. A degree in STEM, Finance, Business or Law is preferred but not essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject, Finance, Business or Law (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an analytical mindset and a desire to learn
  • Ability to quickly process information and relate that to the workings of the firm

Responsibilities

  • Support and help embed the risk culture and the integration of the risk management framework
  • Advise, support and challenge the business / senior management in the identification and management of risks
  • Contribute to a strong governance structure ensuring implementation of best practice across the group
  • Work closely with the business to assess the impact of emerging risks / regulations
  • Help support the configuration and implementation of risk management software
  • Support the effective review of Third parties including due diligence reviews
  • Stay up-to-date on risk trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

An understanding of Risk Management (financial or non) is a plus, particularly regulatory capital, stress-testing or regulator exposure
