Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in CS or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of basics in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Foundational Active Directory knowledge
  • Okta, or similar, experience
  • General networking knowledge, including but not limited to DNS
  • Understanding of IT security principles and practices
  • Adaptable, willing to be involved in many areas of the company
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain end-user operating systems, corporate-issued software, and internal system management tools
  • Work closely with other team members to monitor production and corporate system performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve efficiency where applicable
  • Work with the quality assurance, data engineering, and other internal departments to ensure all facets of corporate or production infrastructure are functioning seamlessly
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for employees
  • Aid in triaging end-user incidents escalated from our security team in a timely manner
  • Assist in maintaining the documentation repository on all existing and new corporate troubleshooting processes
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to review the status of technical issues, provide updates, and engage with teammates
