Summary

Join our dynamic sales team as a Key Account Manager Italy and contribute to the growth of our offline retail channel. Based in Germany, you will manage key accounts in the Italian market, exceeding financial targets and developing tailored customer strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams, acquire new accounts, and continuously improve processes. This role requires extensive experience in key account management within the FMCG/CPG sector, strong communication skills, and fluency in Italian and English. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent vocational training
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management/Sales, with extensive experience managing large, complex accounts in the FMCG/CPG sector, beverage experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Italy offline retail market and trade structures, particularly in grocers and drugstores
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, acting as a key internal and external spokesperson with a results-driven approach
  • Highly driven and always pushing for the next opportunity
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience collaborating across departments such as Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills; comfortable with numbers/data and adept at using analytics and presentation tools
  • Business fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus
  • Possess a valid driver's license (B) and openness to regular travel

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the performance of key accounts within the Italian market, ensuring that financial targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Develop and implement tailored customer strategies that encompass portfolio, pricing & category management, aligned with our company objectives
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and sustainable growth
  • Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to align strategies and achieve shared goals
  • Assist in acquiring new key accounts, driving market penetration and expanding our footprint within the offline sales channel
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our offline retail channel
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, consistently seeking opportunities to optimize processes and shape ways of working
  • Work alongside a high-performing team, sharing best practices, and striving for collective success
  • Regularly travel to the Munich office and visit key retailers across respective markets to strengthen relationships, drive business growth, and ensure market alignment
