Summary

innovaTel, a leading telepsychiatry provider recently acquired by Quartet, is hiring a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work with pediatric patients in a children's hospital setting. The role involves performing mental health diagnostic assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting clinical findings in the electronic medical record. Required licenses are New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Accountabilities include initial assessments, rapport building, documentation, and availability during contracted hours.

Requirements

• Relevant and active LCSW license
• Certified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis
• Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
• Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations
• Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria
• Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients primarily through the telehealth modality
• Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care
• Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of the clinical team
• Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to be on-site on an occasional basis in the Philadelphia area
• Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
• Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patient
