Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in community management, publishing, or social media marketing for large-scale global gaming communities
  • Broad general knowledge of different regional community cultures across Europe
  • Familiar with the mechanics, algorithms and user attributes of mainstream social media landscape
  • Rich vendor communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Deep understanding of game mechanics and the needs of the development team
  • Understanding of copywriting requirements and accurate vocabulary usage
  • Vast experience in content management platform CMS, webpage production, SEO and event operations
  • Proven experience as a leader of change

Responsibilities

  • Develop a player-first community strategy
  • Own and drive the game’s short and long-term community strategy
  • Manage regional social media content scheduling specifications
  • Collaborate across regions to develop efficient workflows
  • Work with community project and creator teams
  • Develop social media platforms
  • Establish effective feedback mechanisms
  • Build and expand community knowledge base
  • Manage multi-person team across different countries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, additional European language ability a plus
  • Love and understanding of anime and manga culture in Europe region a plus
  • Familiarity with HoYoverse IPs, particularly Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail a plus
