Responsibilities include leading modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models, generating model input data, reviewing model output data, conducting independent research, and developing related documents. Requirements

• Minimum of a BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering or related science degree
• 5+ years of air quality modeling experience
• Demonstrated experience with complex regulatory permit modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models
• Independently generate all aspects of model input data and review/diagnosis of model output data
• Independently review and QA work generated by team members
• Independent research and problem solving regarding state and federal modeling guidance
• Develop modeling-related documents include modeling protocols, or reports, and summary of results
• Development and maintenance of scripts to facilitate and expedite the generation of model inputs and outputs
