Lead Consultant, Air Quality Modeler

Join Ramboll's Environment & Health Division as a Lead Consultant, Air Quality Modeler, contributing to sustainable solutions. This role involves leading air quality dispersion modeling using regulatory guideline models, generating model input data, reviewing model output, conducting independent research, and developing related documents. The position requires a minimum of a BS in a related science field and 5+ years of air quality modeling experience with complex regulatory permit modeling. Preferred locations include Denver, CO, Seattle, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, and Novato, CA, but remote candidates will be considered. Requirements

• Minimum of a BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering or related science degree
• 5+ years of air quality modeling experience
• Demonstrated experience with complex regulatory permit modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models
• Independently generate all aspects of model input data and review/diagnosis of model output data
• Independently review and QA work generated by team members
• Independent research and problem solving regarding state and federal modeling guidance
• Develop modeling-related documents include modeling protocols, or reports, and summary of results
• Development and maintenance of scripts to facilitate and expedite the generation of model inputs and outputs
