
Lead Data Strategist

Requirements
- 14+ years of leading large technical teams and projects
- 10+ years of experience implementing a wide variety of on-premises and cloud data management platforms and technologies
- Proven track record of assessing traditional and modern data architectures based on business needs in a consultative approach
- Experience with the modern data stack/platform technologies, products, and approaches
- Delivery experience on multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep background with integrations and transformations of numerous types of data sources, and the solution delivery of real-time data distribution (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase), and warehousing platforms
- History of conducting/implementing strategic data assessments, data governance frameworks, and data quality measurements
- 5+ years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services
Responsibilities
- Leverage industry and technical expertise to collaborate with client stakeholders to turn vague concepts into actionable insights, and to maximize the value of client data across the organization
- Interpret and deliver impactful strategic plans improving data integration, data quality, and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps
- Assess and advocate data management technologies and practices, eliminating gaps between the current state and targeted future state
- Formulate and articulate architectural trade-offs across solution options before recommending a solution, ensuring client technical requirements are met
- Motivate and develop team members through coaching, teaching, empowering, and influencing technical and consulting skills
- Partner with portfolio team to demonstrate technical capabilities, envision valuable solutions, estimate proposed work plans, and recommend team composition talent to support delivery
- Work in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously supporting internal CapTech initiatives and leading client engagements
