Requirements

  • Proven experience in game design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work across various platforms (console, PC, mobile)
  • Expertise in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, or Unreal Engine
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles and game mechanics
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to assess player engagement and game performance metrics
  • Passionate about gaming with a keen interest in current trends and innovations
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
  • Develop and execute the overall design vision for projects, ensuring alignment with product objectives and target audiences
  • Create high-quality visual assets, including character designs, environments, and UI elements that enhance gameplay
  • Direct the design process, providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers
  • Work closely with product managers, programmers, and artists to ensure a cohesive development process
  • Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and creativity
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes
  • Analyze player feedback and metrics to iteratively improve game design and user experience
