Requirements
- Proven experience in game design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work across various platforms (console, PC, mobile)
- Expertise in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, or Unreal Engine
- Deep understanding of user experience principles and game mechanics
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to assess player engagement and game performance metrics
- Passionate about gaming with a keen interest in current trends and innovations
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
- Develop and execute the overall design vision for projects, ensuring alignment with product objectives and target audiences
- Create high-quality visual assets, including character designs, environments, and UI elements that enhance gameplay
- Direct the design process, providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers
- Work closely with product managers, programmers, and artists to ensure a cohesive development process
- Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and creativity
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes
- Analyze player feedback and metrics to iteratively improve game design and user experience
