Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript and one other programming language with at least 3 years of that experience in developing healthcare integrations leveraging common interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7)
  • Minimum of 2 years in supporting or in the direct management software engineers
  • Exceptional fundamentals of computer programming, including a good understanding of software development lifecycle, coding best practices, design patterns, object-oriented architecture, etc
  • Experience working with mainstream EHRs such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, AthenaHealth, NextGen, etc
  • A commitment to supporting and fostering diversity and inclusion
  • This role requires the candidate to reside within the United States of America
  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and drive the delivery of long-term initiatives
  • Collaborative Expertise: Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with a talent for working effectively with Product and Design teams to craft optimal solutions while navigating multiple constraints
  • Mentorship: Growth-oriented mindset with the capability to guide others on their development journey
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to facilitate effective team interactions
  • Autonomous Prioritization: Proficiency in identifying and managing priorities independently, ensuring efficient workflow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with our Tech Stack: JavaScript/TypeScript/React, Rhapsody, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GCP
  • Background in TDD engineering environments
  • Experience working closely with data teams, leveraging healthcare data and foundational data science concepts
