Join Great Minds as a Lead Financial Analyst and lead high-impact financial analysis and modeling to inform business decisions. You will develop balance sheet forecasts, scenario planning, and executive-ready dashboards. This role involves partnering with Finance and cross-functional teams, leveraging tools like PowerBI and Adaptive Planning. You will translate financial data into insights, support initiatives requiring rigorous financial analysis, and identify process improvements. The position requires 7+ years of FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with PowerBI. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required; a Master's degree is preferred. The role is remote and offers a competitive salary.
Requirements
- 7+ years of corporate FP&A experience, ideally at a mid-to-large company, with a background that includes an early career in Accounting and progression into FP&A
- Experience with balance sheet modeling, asset management, proforma modelling and working with large data sets
- Advanced Excel skills; confident in PowerQuery, PowerPivot, and DAX formulas
- Experience with PowerBI or similar BI tools
- Strong analytical thinking paired with excellent communication skills—you’re as comfortable building a model as you are explaining it to a non-finance audience
- A builder’s mindset—comfortable leading workstreams independently and driving them to completion
- Experience in a high-growth or transformation-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, especially balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
- Lead the development of forecasting and planning processes that scale with the business
- Own and evolve dashboards and reporting tools in PowerBI, with strong use of PowerQuery and PowerPivot
- Plays pivotal role in the development, automation, and scalability of key reports, presentations, and analyses to support external stakeholders and Board reporting
- Translate financial data into clear business insights and storylines for Finance and business leadership
- Partner across the organization to support initiatives that require rigorous financial analysis and proforma modeling
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline planning, reporting, and forecasting
