Summary

Join Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) as the Lead, HR Technology and lead the development, implementation, and management of the people technology stack. You will serve as the subject matter expert for all HR systems, driving process improvements and delivering an amazing employee experience. This role involves managing daily operations of HR technology systems, leading implementations of new projects, developing and maintaining HR technology policies, and providing technical support. You will also prioritize data integrity, generate reports for data-driven decision-making, stay current on HR technology trends, and supervise and mentor direct and indirect reports. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience managing HR systems including experience leading implementations and project management
  • Organized self-starter with strong initiative, demonstrates a sense of urgency and proactively escalates issues in a timely manner
  • Expert ability to lead and manage multiple projects and competing priorities; ensures projects are delivered on time and within scope; proactively communicates status updates and roadblocks
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow up skills able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
  • Results and customer service oriented; assumes ownership for assigned deliverables
  • Communicates complex processes and presenting programs to employees of varying demographics (technical/non-technical)
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of HR and payroll processes and their impacts to system administration
  • Ability to confidently use personal judgement that reflects GHX values and professional ethical standards
  • Excellent communications skills, cross-functional collaboration skills, strong planning and project management skills, and be able to work well with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR technology systems, including but not limited to HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), performance management systems, and employee self-service portals
  • Lead implementation and project management for new HR technology project/enhancement requests from initiation through post implementation support including documenting requirements and leading configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Develop and maintain HR technology policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure system security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to HR staff and end-users regarding HR technology systems
  • Ensure best practice business process/workflows and other system dependencies are in place to support system users. Drive improvement of manual HR processes through research and development of automated alternatives
  • Prioritize data integrity and develop processes and procedures to ensure accurate data transfer and smooth integration with downstream applications. Ensure compliance with global, federal, state and local data protection regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Support employees through management of HR ticketing system (JIRA) and leverage knowledge to reduce ticket volume and improve system reliability
  • Generate reports to support data-driven decision-making and enhance HR processes
  • Stay current with emerging HR technology trends and best practices and make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements. Consistently research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing people technology stack
  • Supervise and mentor direct and indirect reports, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Willing to travel up to 25% annually
  • Other Duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP
  • Experience with HRIS systems including onboarding, talent, recruiting, compensation, time management, and payroll
