Lead Instructor

Summary

Join Correlation One as a Lead Instructor and deliver high-quality, virtual leadership development workshops in Japanese or Korean. You will prepare and lead interactive sessions focused on building trust, strengthening team connections, and leading by example. This role involves collaborating with operations personnel and contributing to program success. We are seeking one instructor for a Japan-based workshop and one for a Korea-based workshop, tentatively scheduled for August 2025. The workshops are two hours long and will be virtual, with the possibility of in-person delivery (all travel costs covered by Correlation One). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the AI economy and make a real impact.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in teaching or facilitating leadership development programs
• Experience teaching content focused on building trust & psychological safety or strengthening team connection
• Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
• Strong command of the Japanese or Korean language
• Strong understanding of the Japanese or Korean culture & the cultural norms that relate to the topics of the workshop
• Be located anywhere that is compatible with the time zones of the workshop (there is a possibility that the workshop will be turned in-person, which would then require travel. All travel costs will be endured by Correlation One)
• Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment with a lean team
• Comfortable working remotely, independently, and self-motivated to succeed

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead a virtual workshop (date to be determined)
• Deliver instruction on key concepts related to fostering a positive culture and building trust
• Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth workshop delivery
• Support Learning Designer in translating the curriculum for the workshop from English to Japanese or Korean and ensure the concepts are considering cultural norms
• Interact professionally with learners, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect
• Diligently and adequately prepare for the workshop to ensure the delivery of high-quality content
• Exhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement
• Adjust the pace of the workshop to meet the needs of diverse learners while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content
• Be highly responsive and empathetic to learners, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the workshop
• Maintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel and be quick to respond
• Foster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning
• Contribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team
