Lead Power Platform Developer

Summary

The job is for a Power Platform Developer at ConnectOS, an IT Services and Consulting company. The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, extensive experience as a Power Platform Developer, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and proficiency in using Power Platform tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Extensive experience as a Power Platform Developer with a strong focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Proven ability to lead development projects and manage a team of developers
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with other automation and integration tools and platforms
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in automated environments
• Experience with API integrations and web services
• Strong understanding of application development principles, workflows, and best practices
• Proficiency in using Power Platform tools and integrating them with other Microsoft technologies and services

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective and scalable solutions
• Develop custom applications, workflows, and automation solutions to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Mentor and guide a team of Power Platform developers, providing technical leadership and ensuring best practices are followed
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides
• Ensure the quality, security, and performance of Power Platform solutions
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems and applications
• Monitor and troubleshoot Power Platform applications to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues that arise

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) are highly desirable
