Summary

Join Appfire as a Lead Product Manager and play a pivotal role in making our portfolio of apps enterprise-ready. You will manage the adoption of the Atlassian Forge platform, ensure FedRAMP readiness, and address strategic non-functional requirements across our expanding app portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you'll translate customer needs into platform solutions and develop a winning market strategy. Collaborate with key stakeholders in product management, engineering, marketing, and support to deliver successful products. This remote-friendly role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic and supportive team.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant subject area
  • Possess minimum three (3)+ years of software engineering experience
  • Have minimum seven (7) + years of product management experience
  • Have minimum two (2) + years using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to deliver products/services
  • Have minimum two (2) + years managing SaaS / Subscription-based software products
  • Have three (3)+ years experience using product analytics tools
  • Demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and technologies like Serverless, Containers, Storage/Databases, Site Reliability (SRE), Centralized Monitoring and Incident Management
  • Possess strong interpersonal, analytical, and execution skills
  • Be a strong communicator and collaborator

Responsibilities

  • Assume overall product management responsibility for Appfireโ€™s enterprise strategy
  • Provide technical product vision and leadership for the enterprise strategy, informed through regular market & competitive analysis and customer interviews
  • Lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap with the supporting team including the definition of product requirements, business case development, project milestones, and go-to-market activities
  • With the leadership team, develop and deliver a clear strategy that establishes a winning position in the marketplace
  • Partner with key stakeholders including engineering, marketing, and support to ensure the successful delivery of your products
  • Establish and track goals against KPIs for your products, including adoption and cost metrics
  • Report against progress and develop remediation plans where necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold an MBA
  • Have experience developing product on the AWS Cloud Platform
  • Be dedicated to elevating client and co-worker experiences
  • Adapt swiftly to new business demands
  • Excel in communication, effectively connecting in remote/hybrid environments using tools like Slack, Zoom, and G Suite and through occasional in-person events
  • Have exceptional coaching, mentoring, and people development skills
