Summary
Join Kiln as our Lead Protocol Specialist and play a key role in shaping the future of our Validators product. You will own the Kiln Validators protocols roadmap, understand staking mechanics, participate in protocol governance, and represent Kiln at ecosystem events. Collaborate closely with various teams and customers to execute the roadmap. This is a full-time, permanent role based in the USA or Canada. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in the blockchain industry
- Passion for the field and keen awareness of recent developments. You're an avid follower of crypto Twitter
- Technical background (computer science, engineering, natural sciences) or demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts. You're curious and motivated to delve into project details. You have experience running a validator or deploying a smart contract
- Analytical mindset and clear communication. You excel at synthesizing complex information and conveying your insights both verbally and in writing
- Strong product acumen with the ability to empathize with both retail and B2B users in the staking space
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup/scaleup environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Native or perfectly fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Own the Kiln Validators protocols roadmap, determining which protocols we will support, why, and how, in partnership with the infrastructure and go-to-market teams
- Understand the key staking mechanics of each protocol we support or are considering, and unifying the team and customers around a shared understanding of these mechanics
- Participate in governance on protocols where Kiln is active
- Represent Kiln at ecosystem events
- Collaborate closely with customers, sales teams, product, and the infrastructure team at Kiln to execute the Kiln Validators roadmap
