Summary

Join Deputy, a global SaaS workforce management company, as a Solution Architect! This critical role acts as the linchpin between various departments, owning and managing applications like Zuora, Salesforce, and Netsuite. You will lead architectural design, project delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure applications are fit-for-purpose and scalable. The ideal candidate possesses at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect with a SaaS and billing focus, strong technical skills, and experience with architectural frameworks. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years working as a Solution Architect (or equivalent) with a particular focus on SaaS technologies and a billing focus
  • Be hands-on – writing architecture/solution designs, collaborating with others, and making system changes
  • Design end-to-end solutions that meet business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration capabilities
  • Practical experience working with architectural frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar, allowing you to develop roadmaps/plans that align technology with business objectives
  • Ability to influence others and drive decisions in a highly dynamic and customer-focused environment. Must have the ability to listen, understand, and persuade
  • Technical acumen and a strategic understanding of the essential systems used to support a SaaS organization, which must include Salesforce and Zuora (or similar)
  • Advanced SQL knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Architectural Leader for challenging and complex projects impacting the domain
  • Partner with various stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization
  • Act as the broad knowledge expert in the domain
  • Lead and deliver projects from both architectural and hands-on perspectives
  • Present solutions to both technical and non-technical team members at all levels of the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPQ experience
  • Certifications in Salesforce
  • Java development experience
  • TOGAF certification
