Product Design Lead

Join Insider, a leading B2B SaaS company, as a Product Design Lead and contribute to the development of innovative products. Lead a design team, provide feedback and coaching, participate in the hiring process, and contribute to design operations projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead ideation sessions, and advocate for company and product strategies. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience designing responsive web applications and websites for SaaS products, experience leading teams, and familiarity with design systems and Figma. Strong research skills, a user-centric approach, and excellent communication skills are essential. Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience designing responsive web apps, websites, and design systems for a SaaS or similar product
• Know that “Showing is better than telling when it comes to UX”
• Be familiar with Design systems, pattern libraries, and Figma
• Favor consistency, flexibility, and reuse
• Be very familiar with Research; quantitative and qualitative research are well known to you, as well as Discovery and Usability Testings, as well as utilizing different research methodologies
• Have a curious mind, and everything you do ultimately serves the end-users, bearing them in mind
• Be a good listener and empathy is one of your favorite words
• Be a natural-born problem solver, finding solutions to complex problems motivates and excites you
• Be fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team, providing effective feedback and coaching them
• Actively take part in the hiring process
• Actively contribute to design ops projects to improve the Product Design functions
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team and lead a productive ideation session with them
• Bring your own perspective to the table
• Understand and be the advocate of the company and product strategies, product and its customers and facilitate the delivery of high-quality work
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, autonomous, and collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

Preferably have experience in people management/leading a team
