Requirements
- 5+ years of user research experience, with a strong track record of shaping product decisions through impactful research
- Proven experience leading UX research for B2C products, marketplaces, or other highly user-centric domains
- Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to determine when to move fast with directional insights versus when to apply more rigorous methodologies
- Ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive product and design decisions
- Strong collaboration and storytelling skills, making research insights accessible and compelling to cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute mixed-methods research studies (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys, ethnographic studies)
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights that directly inform product decisions and broader business strategies
- Develop scalable frameworks for understanding and segmenting user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Work with data teams to align qualitative research with behavioral analytics
- Build and maintain a repository of user insights, ensuring learnings are accessible and reusable
- Advocate for a user-centered approach to product development, helping to align business goals with user needs
- Guide and mentor x-functional product team members on best practices in UX research
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, methodologies, and emerging research tools
- Measure and quantify the ROI ensuring that research efforts directly contribute to business outcomes such as increased user engagement, retention, and revenue growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to integrate research seamlessly into the development process
- A passion for patient-centered design and a deep understanding of the challenges both patients and providers face in accessing and delivering care
- Familiarity with healthcare, telehealth, or regulated industries, where research plays a crucial role in improving user experience and compliance
- Experience conducting research at scale in rapidly growing organizations or dynamic product environments
