Summary

Join Construct Education as a Lead, Learning Technology to manage and support the Learning Technology (LT) team. You will ensure effective use of learning platforms and tools, bringing learning design to life across multiple projects and clients. A key focus is enabling your team to work efficiently using Generative AI tools. This hands-on role involves team leadership, technical guidance, workload coordination, and operational oversight. You will partner with the GenAI Solution Architect to embed AI-enhanced practices into workflows. Success involves a skilled LT team, high-quality delivery, and effective GenAI tool use.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience working in a Learning Technology, EdTech, or related technical delivery role
  • Strong knowledge of LMS platforms (Canvas, EdX, or similar), web-based technologies, and digital learning tools
  • Demonstrated people management or team leadership experience
  • Passionate about the intersection of technology and learning
  • Curious and proactive about new technologies, especially GenAI
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical guidance skills
  • Relationship-builder with clear, empathetic communication skills
  • Organised and able to manage team workflows in a dynamic environment
  • Coaching mindset with a commitment to growing team capability
  • Team player, collaborative and adaptable

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support and coach the Learning Technology team across multiple learning platforms (e.g. Canvas, EdX, LMS tools, LTI integrations)
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture
  • Support professional development and technical upskilling within the team
  • Champion the use of GenAI tools and approaches within the Learning Technology team
  • Partner with the GenAI Solution Architect to: Identify relevant GenAI tools and use cases for Learning Technology workflows. Support experimentation, testing and adoption of GenAI tools in the team. Gather feedback and insights on tool usage and impact. Build confidence, capability, and ethical best practice in GenAI use within the team and across the company. Share learnings and contribute to organisation-wide GenAI knowledge-sharing
  • Allocate project work effectively across the LT team
  • Monitor team capacity, flag risks, and coordinate resourcing needs
  • Communicate proactively with Delivery Leads and Project Managers regarding team workload
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Learning Designers, and other key internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive learning solutions
  • Provide advice and recommendations on technology solutions within projects
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between Learning Technology and other teams
  • Provide guidance on the effective use of learning technologies across projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, and ways of working β€” including leveraging GenAI to enhance efficiency
  • Support the creation of training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources for both the LT team and project teams
  • Act as a point of escalation for LT-related challenges within projects
  • Support timely, solutions-focused issue resolution in partnership with Delivery Leads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to or experience with GenAI tools in a work context (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualification in EdTech, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (advantageous)
