Legal Intern

Summary

Join Sharebite's Legal team as a full-time Summer intern (35-40 hours/week)! This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, fully remote, mission-driven company. You'll work alongside the Head of Legal, supporting sustainability initiatives, drafting agreements, optimizing legal operations, and collaborating across various teams. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, detail-oriented law student or undergraduate with strong communication and analytical skills. Requirements

• Current graduate or undergraduate student with an interest in social impact-driven companies that is either: a 2nd or 3rd year law student (as of Fall 2025) at a fully-accredited law school, or an undergraduate student with an interest in AI, data privacy, and/or the practice of law
• Resourceful, self-driven, curious, and collaborative
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented mindset, capable of systems-level thinking
• Equipped with reliable internet access, including video conferencing capabilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs
• Mission-driven; inclined to leverage business as a tool for social good

Responsibilities

• Take a primary seat in Sharebite’s cross-functional organization as we continue to formalize our sustainability goals and reporting frameworks, implement impactful and compliance-driven AI solutions across our legal function, and streamline our workflows across the company
• Engage in drafting, review, and implementation of various sustainability policies for Sharebite, as well as commercial agreements and contracts more generally
• Serve as a key legal ops resource, building upon the foundation we’ve created to further optimize, automate, and standardize our contracting procedures and record keeping
• Work cross-functionally to support the varied legal needs of Sharebite’s Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product/Tech, Operations, and other teams as needed
• Gain valuable experience and knowledge in transactional lawyering within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup on track to change the world

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in transactional law, data privacy, the use of AI/LLMs in legal practice, and sustainability and social impact, through relevant coursework and/or work experience
• Experience with Salesforce, Ironclad, or other CRM or contract management software products
• Experience within or exposure to fintech, SaaS, or tech startups more generally
• Prior work experience in a fast-paced and/or remote work environment
