Join Abnormal AI as a Legal Operations Analyst and support operational excellence within our Legal team. You will assist with legal projects, maintain project timelines, and track key metrics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4–6 years of experience in legal operations, project coordination, or a related operational role (in-house legal department or law firm experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with legal technologies and platforms (e.g., CLM tools, eBilling, matter management systems)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of legal projects, including legal technology implementations, compliance initiatives, and process updates
  • Help maintain project timelines, schedules, and documentation—tracking dependencies and risks to ensure smooth execution
  • Collaborate with legal team members to review workflows and identify areas for improvement and greater efficiency
  • Support tracking and reporting of key legal operations metrics and performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in the evaluation, rollout, and maintenance of legal tech tools (e.g., eBilling, matter management). Help build and maintain process documentation and contribute to an internal knowledge base for legal operations
  • Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, HR) to support shared goals
  • Support change management efforts and promote adoption of new tools and processes across the legal function
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing ideas to streamline operations and scale repeatable processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project coordination or legal operations methodologies; project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or legal ops training (e.g., CLOC) is a plus
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative when appropriate and follow through on deliverables
