Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law
- 2-4 years of experience in legal operations, corporate, contracts or in-house legal setting, preferably in the tech industry
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles
- Knowledge of SaaS contracts a strong plus
- Experience working in a global company and knowledge of privacy laws and US/European laws is a plus
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to devise efficient legal processes
- Prepare, draft, and review various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, client service agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and employment agreements
- Oversee governance matters and corporate record-keeping
- Negotiate contract terms with external parties to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks
- Liaise with and supervise external counsel for outsourced legal matters
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters, risk management, and legal obligations
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts and legal documentation
- Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to address and manage them
- Work closely with other departments, including sales, finance, and HR, to ensure contracts align with overall business objectives and strategies
