Summary

You will streamline workflows, manage legal requests, oversee back-office operations, and produce monthly reports. Responsibilities include managing legal work streams, vendor management, and supporting team functions. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, experience in legal operations, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a legal operations role, legal or policy support role, project management, or a similar operational function within a legal department or law firm
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong ability to manage records and maintain accurate information
  • Demonstrated experience in streamlining workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements
  • Proven ability to manage complex work streams and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong familiarity with legal technology solutions, including contract lifecycle management systems, document management systems, and legal inquiry/ticketing systems
  • Excellent data analysis skills and experience in generating reports and dashboards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with legal professionals, cross-functional teams, and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Streamlining workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to optimize legal and policy operations
  • Managing the workflow and completion of legal requests through internal inquiry system
  • Oversight of back of house legal and policy operations, including record-keeping and contract lifecycle management system
  • Produce monthly legal and policy teams data for leadership reporting through analyzing existing metrics and the creation of new metrics to best demonstrate the team’s performance
  • Execute regulatory reports and permit applications in collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • Support team functions through legal and policy team project management and support, vendor and outside counsel management, and continuing education facilitation
  • Ability to influence improvements through identifying problems, gathering information, and encouraging changes to work behaviors to achieve optimization

Preferred Qualifications

Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal operations training preferred
