Summary

Join Vida Health's in-house legal team as an experienced paralegal, reporting to the General Counsel and SVP of Compliance while supporting the SVP of Sales Operations. You will play a key role in scaling the commercial contracting function and supporting Vida’s corporate functions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and advises on various initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing corporate documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and developing processes to optimize the legal team's work. You will also manage the contracts database and provide general legal support to the department. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited program
  • 4+ years of working as a paralegal at a law firm or in-house
  • Strong understanding of contract law, privacy and compliance principles
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review and revision of corporate documents, contracts and agreements
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy regulations and industry-specific regulations
  • Support corporate, contracting, intellectual property, privacy, compliance and other initiatives as needed
  • Develop and manage processes for optimizing the legal team's work, including advising on adopting legal operations best practices
  • Manage the contracts database
  • Assist with entity formation, annual filings and routine maintenance of Vida’s legal entities
  • Provide general legal support to the legal department, including drafting correspondence, preparing legal filings and assisting with other legal projects as needed

Benefits

$100,000 - $120,000 a year
