Requirements

• Rising seniors who have excelled in previous work experience
• Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement
• Possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Actuarial professionals have the pivotal role in driving the results at Fortitude Re and are integral to the company’s success with their expertise in quantitative analysis, insurance pricing, valuation, and risk quantification
• Determining reserve valuations and financial reporting
• Developing long-term projections of our insurance products to be used for a variety of internal analytical and regulatory purposes
• Performing experience studies
• Setting assumptions for Life, Annuity, and Accident & Health blocks of insurance
