Summary

Join Remote's Time & Attendance team as a Time & Attendance Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient time and attendance management for Remote's global workforce. This individual contributor position emphasizes legal compliance and exceptional employee experience. You will report to the Time & Attendance Manager and contribute to developing and maintaining SOPs, providing subject matter expertise, collaborating with clients and employees, and continuously improving the employee journey. The role requires strong HR operational experience, a deep understanding of labor laws, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Solid operational experience in HR across multiple roles, with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities in handling multiple countries
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, both local and international, especially those related to time tracking, attendance, and leave management. Familiarity with HR best practices and trends in Time & Attendance management
  • Proven experience in implementing end-to-end time off and attendance policies based on country regulations within an organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex Time & Attendance concepts clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with employees, clients, and internal teams
  • Strong English writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, especially in a remote setting

Responsibilities

  • Own Time & Attendance Standard Operating Procedures: Contribute to developing, updating, and maintaining efficient and compliant SOPs
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise for internal and external queries related to Employee Lifecycle matters, particularly in the context of Time & Attendance
  • Collaborate with clients and employees to address inquiries and provide guidance on Time & Attendance issues
  • Continuously improve the Employee Journey: Gather feedback and insights to enhance employee experience
  • Meticulously manage employee data, ensuring it is current, secure, and confidential. Support reporting, audit, compliance, and data integrity initiatives
  • Champion Remote's Values: Promote and exemplify Remote's values internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in another language is a plus
