Summary
Join TheyDo, a fully remote B2B SaaS company, as their first in-house Management Accountant. You will take over from an external provider, bringing order to financial processes, ensuring Dutch compliance, and building financial confidence within the business. This hands-on role involves leading day-to-day finance operations, handling Dutch compliance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for month-end reporting, bookkeeping, profit and loss statements, balance sheet, cash flow statements, employee expenses, invoicing, collections, and supporting Dutch tax filings. The ideal candidate possesses solid Dutch GAAP and tax experience, an accounting qualification, 2–4 years of post-qualification experience, startup experience, and NetSuite proficiency. Requirements
- Solid Dutch GAAP and tax experience
- A recognised accounting qualification
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience
- Startup/scale up experience (essential for understanding how we operate)
- Experience using NetSuite
Responsibilities
- Running month-end reporting and bookkeeping
- Producing accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Managing employee expenses across multiple regions
- Owning invoicing and collections from our customers
- Supporting Dutch tax filings and compliance
- Keeping our financial models accurate and useful (with leadership support)
