You will oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable lifecycle, including invoicing, collections, and AR reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections at a SaaS organization and will be responsible for establishing best practices around billing and collections, while also coaching and developing a small team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive A/R or Finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model is required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with executive leadership
  • Comfortable managing a small team in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, while also maintaining individual responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance development
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end AR process from invoice generation through collection and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops and Customer Success to ensure billing accuracy
  • Ownership of the full collections process and internal and external communication
  • Maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) at desired metrics and implement proactive collection strategies
  • Manage customer credit reviews and establish credit limits in line with company policy
  • Design and deliver AR dashboards and aging reports for executive leadership
  • Provide forecasted cash collections
  • Support NetSuite optimization projects related to AR

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
