Summary

The Manager, Business Data role at GBS is a technical position focusing on data management, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience, and technical skills such as advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8 years of demonstrated progressive experience successfully operating in this field
• Experience developing data management strategies and establishing associated mechanisms for data capture, analysis, and reporting
• Must have the technical knowledge to facilitate, including but not limited to, advanced Excel, SQL, Python, and functional use of data visualization tools
• Must be proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Aggregates, ingests, and cleanses data to ensure data integrity
• Analyzes data to understand opportunities/risks and trends
• Establishes multi-channel reporting framework to key business stakeholders
• Operates as the most senior technical expert, making business recommendations and contributions to decision making with GBS senior leaders and other key business stakeholders
• Partners with FP&A to ensure continuity of data and reporting across GBS and Finance
• Designs and implements data management strategy for GBS
• Establishes and maintains centralized mechanisms for data capture
