Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in managing social accounts across different platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok)
  • 1-2 years of experience managing at least one direct report
  • Interested and invested in all sports, across all seasons
  • Must be comfortable working nights and weekends based on the sports calendar
  • Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging copy and assist with social graphics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving goals

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content rollout on a daily basis
  • Manage live coverage for sports events across Underdog social platforms
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Social Media on social strategy and daily content decisions, aligning posts with the overarching company goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and production to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing efforts
  • Handle social media posting and ensure all copy is on-brand and optimized for engagement
  • Monitor metrics regularly, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) like social post engagement performance by type of post and time of posting
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices
