Summary
Join StackAdapt as a Manager of Client Services (MCS) in Western Canada, leading a team of Account Managers and driving account retention and revenue growth. You will be responsible for tracking revenue targets, coaching the team, leading hiring and onboarding efforts, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, and collaborating with other departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive experience in programmatic advertising, and a deep understanding of RTB and DSPs. As the first MCS in the region, you will play a critical role in shaping team culture and contributing to StackAdapt's continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing client relationships, driving revenue, and delivering measurable results. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing a team, with a proven ability to lead from the front and inspire high-performing teams
- 5+ years of experience in account management, planning, and execution in the programmatic advertising space
- Deep knowledge of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and programmatic advertising, including hands-on experience with DSPs and Ad Networks
- Experience using platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other DSPs in a self-serve capacity
- A strong track record of managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering measurable results
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts, with platform expertise and comfort navigating complex ad tech solutions
- Proven success in overcoming challenges, making data-driven decisions, and designing creative, scalable solutions
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can influence and drive adoption of new processes and ideas
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to build trust and alignment across teams
- A genuine interest in digital advertising and an eye on emerging trends and innovations
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Account Managers (AMs) ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a collaborative environment focused on account retention, revenue expansion, and proactive growth strategies
- Track, monitor, and evaluate quarterly revenue targets given to each AM on the team, where account retention and growth are the main objectives
- Coach the AMs to make strategic plans to achieve objectives and capitalize on opportunities within their portfolios, while providing proactive help with the teamβs largest and high-potential accounts. Reinforce a commercial mindset within the team, ensuring AMs are empowered to own the full client lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal and expansion
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance-planning efforts to build a high-performing, client-first team culture, ensuring each team member has an individualised growth plan
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency within the team, such as the development of tools, procedures or processes, or team education
- Work with other department leads representing the Client Service teamβs best interests, sharing feedback and providing ideas to bring solutions to any relevant issues
- Oversee major client initiatives and build strong relationships with key customers, acting as a senior point of contact and strategic consultant
- Provide in-depth client consultation on StackAdapt DSP, including campaign setup, performance insights, optimization strategies, and new growth opportunities to meet KPIs
- In-person and virtual meetings, presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews and training/education
- Travel as necessary
