Summary
Join Chainguard, a fast-growing company, as the Manager of Commercial Sales to lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives. You will focus on acquiring new customers, building sales pipelines, and driving overall sales growth. This role involves shaping sales processes, recruiting top talent, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience selling technical products (Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, OSS preferred) and 1+ year managing high-performing software sales teams. On-target earnings range from $240,000 to $300,000. Chainguard offers a flexible, remote-first culture with various benefits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in successfully selling a technical product (Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, OSS preferred)
- 1+ years of experience successfully managing high performing software sales teams
- Deep knowledge of MEDDPICC framework
- Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing a team
- Enjoy coaching and motivating others, leading by example while demonstrating humility
- Feel a deep sense of alignment with our company values
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director of Commercial Sales
- Focus heavily on territory planning and execution with a dedicated emphasis on pipeline generation
- Develop and implement sales strategies that focus on both short-term revenue goals and long-term pipeline development and work cross-functionally with other teams, like marketing, to align messaging & campaigns for maximum impact on pipeline growth
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future needs and be heavily involved in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new reps
- Foster a collaborative environment where account executives on your team can learn, grow, and seek professional growth under your leadership
- Build and improve processes for team member on-boarding and ramping
- Drive alignment with supporting teams across customer success, marketing, solutions architects, and professional services
