Join Samsara, the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, and help define the future of physical operations. As Manager of Finance Systems, you will partner with the Finance organization to build world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience operating and maintaining financial systems like Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle, Netsuite including business rules/coding, model building, and development of reports and dashboards
• Good understanding of full-cycle implementation of financial systems and application support process
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and models

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, deliver, and maintain innovative and collaborative planning models on the Workday Adaptive Planning platform
• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to develop roadmaps, identify needs, understand existing models (Microsoft Excel and Adaptive), and translate them into efficiently built and enhanced Adaptive or other technology solutions
• Oversee data flows and development of integrations between our internal systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, Workday) and Adaptive to ensure data is timely and accurate
• Prepare clear and concise presentations, providing recommendations to senior management and executives
• Formalize best practices in model building, document processes, and provide coaching/training to end users
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
