Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree with strong academic performance
- Extensive experience developing and analyzing 3 statement financial models
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks with concrete action plans
- Demonstrated experience in driving complex and cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Highly analytical and able to extract business insights from analysis; strong financial modeling and analysis skills required
- Proven track record of self-motivation, prioritization, initiative and integrity
Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and distill complex financial data into impactful business insights, reporting, and analyses to support strategic initiatives and ad hoc executive requests
- Participate in the ongoing management of the business and influence decision-making through solid relationships built with cross-functional business partners
- Support capital planning process by partnering with senior leaders to understand key company initiatives, level of investment, and ROI
- Collaborate with key executives around business case development, including cost/benefit and financial analysis
- Handle / lead the completion of special projects as requested by the Executive Team
- Drive and coordinate various portions of annual planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes to deliver predictable financial results, early warning of potential gaps, and timely identification and implementation of corrective action
- Identify and improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and internal controls through process improvement across departments
- Play a key role in leading the financial diligence efforts for our corporate development strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic financial plans
Preferred Qualifications
- M.B.A. or other relevant advanced degree
- Exposure to e-commerce, fintech, Enterprise SAAS, and payments
- M&A due diligence experience
- Proficiency with SQL and statistical tools
- Experience with Adaptive Insights as well as Netsuite or other ERP systems
- Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape
- Humble attitude with a willingness to shift from high-level strategic thinking to stepping in and helping to drive implementation alongside functional teams
