Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, or integration roles in a payments technology environment
- Demonstrated success leading or mentoring implementation consultants or similar delivery teams in a high-growth or fast-paced setting
- Strong technical understanding of web APIs, SDKs, and system integration workflows (especially REST, webhooks, JSON)
- Proven ability to manage large-scale implementation projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
- Skilled in project management and planning, including risk mitigation and client expectation setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to interface with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug or advise on common integration challenges
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, fostering honest and transparent conversations with all stakeholders
- Experience distilling complex technical concepts and processes into clear, actionable plans for both customers and internal teams
Responsibilities
- Lead complex enterprise implementations from kickoff through go-live, ensuring on-time delivery and successful handoff to support and Customer Success
- Coach and lead a high-performing team of Implementation Consultants, ensuring consistency in scoping, project execution, and customer communication
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex implementations, partnering with clients to resolve blockers across APIs, SDKs, and payments workflows
- Translate customer use cases into structured implementation plans that align with Spreedly's product capabilities and roadmap
- Develop and iterate implementation playbooks, templates, and onboarding toolkits to drive scalable, repeatable engagements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to provide field feedback, inform delivery timelines, and escalate critical implementation risks
- Partner with Sales and Solutions Consulting to ensure a clean post-sale handoff and alignment on scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Track and report on implementation KPIs such as time-to-launch, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and implementation velocity
- Build processes and rituals to drive operational rigor and high-quality customer onboarding experiences
- Contribute to internal enablement by documenting best practices and onboarding new team members
- Simplify customer questions and disseminate information to current and new customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to onboarding tools, enablement content, or customer documentation
- Background in process improvement or operational scaling within Implementation or Professional Services
- Familiarity with customer project tools like Jira, Salesforce, and Confluence
- Exposure to project management methodologies such as Agile or PMP (certification a plus)
