Summary

Join Samsara's Invoicing & Adjustments team as a Manager and lead a team responsible for accurate and timely customer invoicing. You will oversee daily workflow improvements, manage workload, ensure invoice accuracy, handle escalations, and conduct team meetings. The role involves reviewing email queues, identifying system errors, and initiating projects to enhance invoicing processes. You will also champion Samsara's cultural principles and lead a high-performing team. This remote position, based in Mexico, offers the opportunity to impact global industries and contribute to a company focused on career development and growth. Success in this role will be measured by KPIs related to invoicing requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or 9 years of equivalent experience in Accounting
  • 4+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • 2+ years of people management/supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Able to work with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ERP Systems, preferably NetSuite and Zendesk
  • Proficient in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day workflow improvements & corresponding testing
  • Help the team manage the day-to-day workload
  • Ensure customer invoices are accurate and sent to all customers
  • Managing internal and external escalations on invoicing, adjustment transactions, statements, etc
  • Hold weekly team meetings and 1:1s with all full-time employees
  • Reviewing email queues & drive resolution on any SLA breaches
  • Identify and correct system errors causing invoices to fail to automatically send
  • Initiate project work to improve the overall invoicing rationale and processes
  • Oversee team responsibilities such as escalations, support tickets, custom billing, subsidies, MX document certifications, and portal invoicing
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraโ€™s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
  • Lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Netsuite experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Intermediate Excel experience
  • SOX Compliance
