You will oversee all aspects of the accounts receivable lifecycle, from invoicing and collections to reporting. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate billing, reduce collection times, and improve cash flow. You will lead and develop the accounts receivable team, optimize processes, and provide financial forecasting. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years of experience (5+ in leadership), and proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive A/R or Finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model
  • Proficient in NetSuite and experience with Salesforce
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with executive leadership
  • Comfortable managing a small team in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance development
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end AR process from invoice generation through collection and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops and Customer Success to ensure billing accuracy
  • Ownership of the full collections process and internal and external communication
  • Maintain DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) at desired metrics and implement proactive collection strategies
  • Manage customer credit reviews and establish credit limits in line with company policy
  • Design and deliver AR dashboards and aging reports for executive leadership
  • Provide forecasted cash collections
  • Support NetSuite optimization projects related to AR
