You will own and build people processes and systems, ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting strategic initiatives. This role involves managing the employee lifecycle, HR systems and data, benefits administration, leave administration, payroll coordination, compliance, employee support, and process improvement. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of HR operations experience in a tech startup, strong HR systems management skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an HR operations role, preferably within a tech startup
- Strong experience managing HR systems, payroll processing, corporate benefit programs, and global compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Rippling experience preferred) and Google sheet/Excel/data analysis
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgement
- Self motivation with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and transitions, ensuring a positive and smooth experience for employees globally
- Administer and optimize HRIS (Rippling), ensure data and document accuracy, complete audits, and generate reports to support data-driven decision making
- Oversee all employee benefits programs, including communications, enrollment, renewals, changes, audits and employee inquiries
- Ensure that leave programs are administered accurately, consistently and uniformly, adhering to policies/procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Serve as the point person for all employee questions and support
- Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in all regions, updating policies as needed
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to HR, benefits, and policies
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction
