Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a combination of business operations, strategy, program management, or a Chief of Staff-type role; experience in fintech or related fields strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive actionable solutions while maintaining a focus on long-term business impact
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to maintain clarity on priorities, dependencies and execution details
  • Proven ability to problem-solve independently and make informed decisions to maintain progress and drive execution
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executive teams, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in aligning multiple teams toward shared objectives
  • Strong ability to balance structured execution with flexibility, adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights
  • This position requires either a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to the COO to drive high-priority initiatives that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and business performance
  • Lead the planning and execution of cross-functional initiatives to drive alignment, accountability and high-quality execution
  • Drive and continuously improve the operational cadence of the COO organization, to ensure alignment and effective decision making
  • Develop a deep understanding of Affirm’s business, organization, and strategic priorities to ensure initiatives are designed and executed in ways that maximize business impact
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers
