Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and coding standards
- Experience developing and executing a strategic vision for various DevOps or SRE functions
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
- Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation
- Proven experience implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD practices in large-scale environments
Responsibilities
- Drive the automation of deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of the organization's build applications
- Select and implement appropriate DevOps tools and platforms
- Evaluate and select third-party tools and services that align with the organization's needs and goals
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of outages or disasters
- Drive root cause investigations, seeking the primary cause of the unexpected event, no matter where it lies
- Work with product management, development, design, support and other dev teams to create high-quality solutions
- Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team
