Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's to Doctorate degree in the Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or a related environmental discipline
- Possess 10+ years of experience in the professional consulting industry working on Impact Assessment and permitting of complex projects
- Conduct assigned tasks without supervision
- Manage own time independently to complete assigned tasks
- Delegate parts of own work to others
- Provide training/mentoring to less experienced staff
- Clearly communicate work results to supervisor, colleagues and clients
- Provide a supporting role in client contact (client meetings, client communications)
- Contribute technical and business content and assist in managing proposal preparation or independently manage proposal preparation
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to approach issues in a clear and logical manner
- Show proficiency in MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Be part of a team to deliver a robust EIA, survey management, stakeholder engagement and consenting advice to support consent submission
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with both Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners and our clients
- Maintain day-to-day contact with the client to ensure we are meeting project objectives and client expectations
- Design and execute complete projects of moderate to substantial size and complexity
- Conduct independent technical analyses and direct technical analyses of others
- Provide advisory skills in relation to preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations and participation in public consultation
- Demonstrate ability to present complex technical concepts effectively both orally and in writing so clients, regulatory agencies and legal groups can easily comprehend them
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience on Social Impact Assessment, First Nations support, and/or International Finance Standards/Equator Principals
- Possess experience with Canadian federal and provincial permitting legislation and processes, preparing EIAs SIA,s and/or ESHIAs, stakeholder relationships (including engagements with indigenous communities), and environmental elements of international financing requirements
