Manual QA Analyst

Summary

This role involves creating test strategies and plans, managing test execution, ensuring traceability throughout testing phases, and facilitating technical acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester, knowledge of the SDLC, and experience with test documentation and defect management using systems like Azure DevOps. Cybersecurity industry experience is a must. The position is based in Manila with a schedule of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. ConnectOS's client is a leading medical college in Australia and New Zealand.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Manual Tester
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and associated methodologies
• Strong experience in preparation of testing documentation – Test Plans, Test cases and Test
• Manage defects and test case writing using systems such as Azure DevOps
• Cybersecurity industry experience

Responsibilities

• Create test and defect resolution strategy and test plan for assigned projects or business enhancement
• Manage and complete the work of delivering the test plans, cases and review of test scenarios including linking test cases and establishment of required test data
• Demonstrate traceability of testing through requirements and all test phases
• Ensure suitable test environments are available according to the schedule of work
• Facilitate and execute Technical Acceptance Testing
• Apply awareness and understanding of over-arching test strategies already in existence that must be worked to

Preferred Qualifications

• Automation experience
• Certified International Software Testing Qualification or similar
