QA Analyst

Summary

Join Zipdev as a QA Analyst and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from advising on acceptance criteria to designing and executing test plans. Your responsibilities include manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting bugs, collaborating with developers and product managers, and contributing to the improvement of QA processes. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role
• Familiarity with testing web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software features
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance
• Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner using bug-tracking tools
• Work with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain thorough documentation of testing activities
• Conduct regression testing on resolved defects and ensure no new issues are introduced
• Assist with performance and load testing to ensure the software performs well under various conditions

Preferred Qualifications

Basic knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, or test automation tools
